Books/Magazines--Favorite Authors include William Shakespeare, F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Knowles, and Elizabeth George. I also like reading Max Lucado, Charles Sheldon, and C.S. Lewis. Dance/Theatre--Well, more theatre than dance (though one of my goals is to learn to swing and ballroom dance). I was in drama in high school and I still like going to plays. I especially love musicals. My favorite plays are Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare, and Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. Favorite musicals include Camelot, Amedaus, and the Music Man. History--I find history really interesting (to a certain extent anyway). Movies/TV--I hardly ever watch TV anymore but I see a lot of movies. My all-time favorite movie is Dirty Dancing. It's such a fun, classic movie. News/Current Events--Sadly, I'm not as up on all this stuff as I ought to be. But I don't make time to watch or read the news anymore. Politics--I joke that one day I'll be president. I'm neither republican nor democrat but I have kind of my own political philosophy. Religion--I'm a Christian. Though I attend a Church of God university, I come from a non-denominational church. I take my faith very seriously and I like to learn about and discuss other religions. School/College--Well, I'm in college so I guess I'm interested in it. Travel--I haven't done much but I'd like to someday. At this point I've only been to Canada and a handful of U.S. states. | ||||||||||||||||
